Decorate-Your-Own Sweets Gem Art
A mess-free, no-glue gem craft — kids press sparkly gems onto cupcake- and cake-shaped designs to make their own shiny keepsake. The cupcake and cake shapes are the most literal "candy shop" match possible, and it's a calmer, seated alternative to the candy necklace table.
What you'll need
How to do it
- Give each child one sticker or suncatcher design to start with.
- Show them how to pick up gems with the included stylus and press them onto the matching numbered/colored spot.
- Let kids fill in their design at their own pace.
- Once finished, stickers can go straight onto a water bottle or notebook, and suncatchers can hang in a window.
